Goal
Turn Open edX into a SaaS platform where multiple organizations could run their own uniquely branded learning environments, with stronger login security.
Approach
- Modified the core LMS for a multi-tenant structure with per-organization themes and branding.
- Added OTP-based login for an extra layer of security on sensitive institutional data.
- Let organizations onboard and deploy without managing any backend infrastructure.
Outcome
Each organization got a personalized, secure, self-serve LMS, making the platform far easier to scale to new customers.
